About the event
Alberto Pibiri is a New York-based Italian jazz pianist and composer with a background in classical music. He has collaborated with renowned jazz musicians in the New York jazz scene, and has performed in the major New York jazz venues such as Smalls, Mezzrow, Blue Note, Dizzy's Club and the renowned Carnegie Hall as band leader and sideman.
While actively engaged in the jazz scene as a performer in the States and abroad, Alberto earned a Master’s Degree in Jazz Performance from Queens College. He is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Orchestration and Film Scoring.
After 12 years of living and performing in the States, Alberto became a US citizen for his contributions to music. Alberto’s latest releases include trio album "Stardust," with Essiet O.
